Please Note: All the horns have grind marks, scratches, flaws or inperfection.  (could be one or the other.... or combination). Most all the horns appear that the someone started to remove the rough natural exterior surface of the horn.. but didn't complete.

Each horn is slightly different in shape, color and marbling. (due to the natural horn colors).

Size of the horns Average length ranges from 9" to 14" L x width 2 - 2 3/4" (open bell end). Pulled at random. Large order you might have a 8" + horn or two.
PLEASE NOTE: all you get is the horn. The wooden acorn, plug and shoulder sling ARE NOT INCLUDED. Build your own Powder horn.

Genuine water buffalo / cow horns. These are natural unpolished horns that might have growth rings , imperfections or flaws, grind marks , scratch marks about.

The horns have been cleaned.(although you will need to also further clean, disinfect, sanitize and seal the horn before using for your craft project). Some of the horns insides could have a gamey smell until further cleaned).


Horns are a great addition to many different craft projects including shooting bag powder horns, Bow nocks, hunting horn and free-trapper products, just to name a few.
All horns are measured with a seamstress ruler from the bell end to the tip end on the outside curve following any twisting. Horns are not measured with a metal (slide) ruler nor in a straight line.
